It's really fun to do a hardware piece every once in a while.

The idea behind this ship was that the engines (fusion drive) are inextricably linked to the weapons -

thus linking the power-generated and power-expending parts. They are connected by the mechanical detail

and allow the green that glows like the menacing "War of the Worlds" Martian machines.

This is to be reprinted on the cover of Space and Time magazine.
